International Graduate School

Berlin School of Mind and Brain

The Berlin School of Mind and Brain is a graduate institution of Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin (HU Berlin). We offer a two-year Master’s degree “Mind and Brain” (M.A. and M.Sc. tracks) and a three-year doctoral program. The interdisciplinary research, education and training takes place in English. Our focus is on the interface between the humanities and behavioral sciences with the neurosciences. Our graduate school is a founding member of the Einstein Center for Neurosciences Berlin. Together with HU Berlin, we are hosting one branch of the national Max Planck School of Cognition. The DFG-funded Research Training Group 2386 “Extrospection” is affiliated to our graduate school, and we collaborate closely with the Excellence Cluster EXC2002 “Science of Intelligence” of TU and HU Berlin.
